Otolaryngology Associates of Long Island is a full service Ear, Nose, and Throat practice. We offer the convenience of three locations in Suffolk County, Port Jefferson and Smithtown on the North Shore and Patchogue on the South Shore. Our Physicians have been caring for patients for more than thirty years.
Our seven highly trained physicians, Drs. Richard Litman, William Sher, Lee Shangold, Lauren Zaretsky, John Sugrue, Ajay Chitkara and Craig Litman are all Board Certified in Otolaryngology and skilled in all aspects of ENT, including Allergy, Otology, Head and Neck surgery, Sinus Surgery, Pediatric Otolaryngology, Laryngology, and Sleep Medicine, and have been recognized every year since 1996 in the Castle Connolly Guide to Best Doctors in New York. We also head the Sections of Otolaryngology at St. Charles Hospital and at J.T. Mather Memorial Hospital, in Port Jefferson, N.Y.
Our state of the art allergy program covers all phases of allergy avoidance education, medical therapy and immunotherapy. We are one of the few practices on Long Island to offer both injection and sublingual immunotherapy treatments, supervised by a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.
Our Surgeons perform comprehensive head and neck surgery including: parotid, thyroid and parathyroid, nose and sinus, ear and mastoid, tonsil and adenoid, laryngopharyngeal and vocal fold surgery.
Our office has highly trained, certified audiologists on staff. We provide comprehensive hearing and balance evaluations for children and adults to complement the physicians' examination.
